deep serene it might have been but only momentarily as gale force wind was virtually tossing clouds and hail across the sky. I have to say thank you to extended roofs of beach cabins which generously provided hiding place in these very exposed stretches  of seaside.
Never seen cleare Sun on that day and the sky you see here were temporally brakes in dark skies. After all it was a great outing in weather-beaten Hasting even if I ended up with soaked socks.
